“My First Piano Pieces” is a collection of 24 lovingly arranged children's and folk songs, world-famous classical piano pieces and the author's own compositions. They are intended as a useful addition to the successful piano concepts “My First Piano School”, “My Second Piano School” and “My Third Piano School” and for the first and second year of lessons. The skills already learned are supported and deepened by the pieces in the keys of C major, F major, G major, A minor and D minor. The original compositions from the various areas of romance, Celtic music, film music and boogie woogie ensure variety and joy of playing. The classical pieces towards the end of the book represent a small challenge. However, with an extremely beautiful piano piece like “Die Moldau” this is happily accepted after the first year of lessons. “My first piano pieces” – a varied, motivating and recommended supplementary repertoire for teachers, students and self-taught artists.
