“Comprehensive communication of technology and basic knowledge meets Kurzweil and fun. A well thought-out, logically structured structure of the lessons makes learning easier and motivates at the same time with sound-effective games. The naturally flowing methodical concept quickly leads to audible and tangible experiences of success on the keyboard, even with a small amount of practice!”
Jens Rupp has been working as a piano and keyboard teacher for over 30 years. With this experience, he has now created a textbook that combines his previous teaching methods and positive experiences as a teacher. “My first keyboard school!” is a contemporary and didactically well-thought-out school that is easy to understand and logical for students and teachers. Through carefully graded lessons, the basics of making music with the keyboard are carefully taught - thorough, sonically motivating, effective. The school also contains many well-known and new compositions that will guide students to successful keyboard playing with a lot of fun.
“My first keyboard school!” is limited to the keys C major and A minor. The musical teaching pieces are combined in their sequence in such a way that they are composed and arranged in very fine gradations of difficulty. The school contains many pieces in the basic C major position for the right hand. This gives the student enough time to learn the first five notes c', d', e, f' and g' thoroughly and calmly. Over the course of the book, the tonal range is carefully expanded to include the tones a', b', c'', d'', e'', f'' and the small h. At the same time, the chords C major, G major, G7, F major, A minor, E minor and D minor are gradually learned with the left hand. Therefore, it will soon be possible to accompany many melodies of all musical styles in the keys of C major and A minor with the left hand. To make reading music easier, “My First Keyboard School!” is limited to 12 notes in the treble clef. Getting to know almost all chords in the key of C major is made easy and is unique in this form .
