With Chorda, the Artiphon brand presents a new series in the award-winning instrument collection. With this synthesizer, looper, sampler and MPE- midi controllers , music is possible anytime, anywhere. Chorda is easy for musicians to use and adapts to any style of playing. The instrument has a built-in loudspeaker, a headphone jack and a rechargeable battery. Chorda can be played like a guitar or you can load a piano preset and the frets immediately become "keys". With the pads , Chorda even turns into a drum machine. Even fretless melodies over the bridge can be created with the instrument , which is reminiscent of a violin or pedal steel. The library via the companion app offers a variety of sounds from genres such as loft, RnB and can be combined with your own samples or a DAW.
With the preset Creator , Artiphon presents the desktop app for the internal synth engine from Chorda and Orba . You can now create your own Chorda and Orba presets in a simple, playful way, change existing ones as desired and export them.

The Artiphon company was founded in 2011 by Dr. Mike Butera in Nashville, Tennessee and consists of designers, musicians and engineers from influential companies such as Space X, Blue Origin, Line 6 and Yamaha. Artiphon is committed to creating a world in which everyone can be musical and music plays a central role in life. To live up to this idea, they invented INSTRUMENT 1 and Orba and funded over $1 million in pre-orders through Kickstarter. We are extremely proud to present you the Orba in our range.
The Artiphon Orba is an intelligent combination of synthesizer, looper and midi controllers that comes to life in the palm of your hand but can also easily disappear in your jacket pocket. You can use it to create songs or capture initial ideas “in no time.” The 8 touchpads react to even the slightest touch and also recognize a variety of gestures such as tapping, stroking and vibrato. Inside there is a 4-part polyphonic synthesizer with subtractive and physical modeling sounds and enables a wide range of drum, bass, chord and lead sounds. In addition, the accelerometer and gyroscope also enable multi-dimensional movements such as waving, tilting and shaking, ideal for control other sounds and effects.
