Buy capo at session

Are you looking for a capo to add a little more variety to your guitar playing or perhaps to escape the difficult barre grip ? Then you've come to the right place. We have the right capo for every type of guitar. A capo is a movable clamp that can be used to change the pitch of the guitar.

The capo is stretched between two frets around the guitar neck. The Kapo (short form) presses the guitar strings onto the fretboard in front of the respective frets. Using a capo shortens the scale length of the guitar. The capo replaces the function of the bridge. Conversely, the shortened scale length length increases the pitch of all strings by one semitone step per fret. With this practical playing aid (which every guitarist should have), so-called barré grips can be easily achieved. Depending on the area of application , capos differ in their form , equipment and materials.

Before buying a capo, you should take a close look at the profile of your fingerboard. A distinction is usually made between a straight and a curved fretboard. It is important that the capo fits the respective neck profile and that the guitar strings are pressed onto the fretboard with sufficient pressure. You should make sure that there are no annoying noises and that the neck and fretboard of the guitar are not damaged. In our webshop you will find suitable capos from Planet Waves , Ortega , Shubb , G7TH and many other brands for all common types of guitars.
