Stage pianos for advanced players and professionals
Advanced players are often looking for even more authentic piano sounds and thus higher polyphony, improved touch dynamics and other features for live operation. From the middle to the upper class, the models range from the Yamaha CP88, CP73 and Korg Grandstage 88, to the Kawai MP-11, to the Roland RD-2000. All stage pianos impress with an even more realistic grand piano sound as well as improved dynamics and hammer action. The only ones that are even more popular for stage use are the striking red pianos from Sweden. In the professional league, the choice usually falls on the Clavia Nord Piano 4 or the Clavia Nord Stage 3 88. Both models have a key response that is as popular as it is very precise. All of the important functions of the Northern Lights are located on the clear user interface and can be selected directly from there. The special thing about the Clavia models is that you can always load new sounds (Update: Nord Piano Library) from the manufacturer's library directly into the stage piano's flash memory . This means the sound always remains up-to-date and adapted to your own preferences. The Nord Stage 3 88 also impresses with its organ section. Behind it is a digital drawbar organ, which allows the modulation of organ sounds, as well as a variety of other controls and buttons for control in live operation. As always, which stage piano you ultimately choose depends on your own taste and of course also a little on the level of your wallet. As a rule, every stage piano can survive the harsh conditions of everyday stage life.
