Guitar effects are like icing on the cake. With them the sound tastes a little better. When you enter the world of effects, the first distinction is usually: multi-effect or single effect? While multi-effects are a jack of all trades and provide everything from simulated amplifier and speaker sounds to hundreds of effects or recording solutions, individual effects are highly specialized building blocks for your own sound. Although they often only offer a few sounds per pedal, they offer completely different options and possibilities for your own compilations.
