AC/DC sound
No problem with the OX from Universal Audio !
Olli follows in the footsteps of his great childhood heroes and shows you in the video how legendary AC/DC sounds can be reproduced using the OX from Universal Audio .
In the spirit of AC/DC figurehead Angus Young, Olli grabbed a Gibson SG and a 100 watt Marshall - the most important and actually only ingredients in the dry and honest brat sound that we all love AC/DC for. The Universal Audio OX is responsible for the rest of the sounds , from the speaker to the microphone.
The OX is an attenuator, also called a loadbox, which can be used to attenuate the amplifier power passed on to the speaker box. In practice this means that even a 100 watt Marshall Plexi can be played at room volume with full power amplifier saturation. In addition to the option of passing the signal on to a guitar box, this is where the digital component of the OX comes into play.
With the help of the associated software , thanks to the many high-quality speaker, microphone and surround sound simulations, you can create record-ready, high-quality guitar sounds and save them on the six slots of the RIG controller. The connection is wireless thanks to WiFi and also possible with tablets.
