The LR Baggs VOICEPRINT DI uses proprietary VOICEPRINT technology in combination with Impulse Response to preserve the unique tonality and character of acoustic guitars when amplified with amps or PAs. Voiceprint is the result of intensive development lasting over three years This technology uses an advanced, patented algorithm that, together with impulse response technology, captures a breathtaking, natural sound result from acoustic signals and outputs it as an amplified signal. While this technology is incredibly complex, the operation is simple and user-friendly. The self-developed LR Baggs smartphone app "AcousticLive" walks the user through the voice mapping process, which consists of some tapping on the bridge, some played chords, and some picking. The digital fingerprint of an acoustic guitar is ready! This created VOICEPRINT preset is now saved on the DI pedal and supplements the missing body sound and its nuances with the signal from the pickup used. But the app and the VOICEPRINT DI can do much more. During the When creating the VOICEPRINT presets , the app also analyzes and saves the frequencies of the instrument, which can be responsible for possible feedback. The “ANTI-FEEDBACK” function then creates a suitable profile from the data obtained, which counteracts these annoying sounds.
