Back in 2010, Blackstar set the stage for low-wattage amps with their HT-1 amplifier model , which were particularly suitable for home and studio use. With the HT-1R MkIII, Blackstar goes a step further and introduces new features such as recording via USB-C and Blackstar's speaker simulation Cabrig, which allows guitarists to choose between 100 different cabinet, microphone, microphone placement and room settings. These settings can be saved and stored in 3 presets that can be called up directly from the amplifier model . The patented ISF controls allows both American and British sounds and a variety in between. Due to its low wattage, the amplifier model sounds convincing even at low volumes. Together with the two footswitchable channels and the voice switches, the amplifier model has two clean and two overdrive sounds. A USB-C connection enables connection to a computer and thus the possibility of recording.
