The SE CE24 combines the traditional PRS Custom 24 combination of maple top, mahogany back and rosewood fingerboard with a bolt-on maple neck. The added snap and response of bolt-on construction / acoustic has been an integral part of guitar building and the guitars that inspired Paul Reed Smith from the beginning. The sound and equipment of the SE CE24 continue this tradition with PRS' unique take on a classic. The 85/15 "S"pickup provide enhanced treble response and bass response with punch and balance, while the push/pull EQ adds coil splitting versatility. The PRS SE CE24 offers sound, fast and easy playability and the famous, classic PRS look that will delight players of all styles and from all corners of the world.

A PRS classic
The CE 24 was first introduced in 1988 and has been in the PRS line-up continuously since then. With the SE CE 24, the incomparable look and sound of the CE24 finds its way into the SE series for the first time and is now also available at an affordable price. The CE stands for "Classic Electric" and the 24 stands for the quantity of frets. With a mahogany body and a maple top , the SE CE24 stands out from the crowd, especially visually, but it also impresses in terms of sound and feel with an amazing price-performance ratio.
Electronics and hardware
At PRS, the pickup are always precisely tailored to the respective guitars, including the 85/15 "S" pickups that are installed in the SE CE24 models. They deliver crystal clear tone with improved bottom and top end, making them perfect for modern sounds . The in-house tuning machines keep the tuning very precise without dampening the sound of the guitar. The patented PRS Vibrato system makes it easy to vary the sound of the guitar without having to compromise on tuning stability. Every SE CE24 is delivered in a PRS gig bag.
