With the new guitars from the SE Silver Sky series , PRS is releasing something very special for its loyal guitar fans at the beginning of the new year. The guitars from the PRS SE series , which are known for their outstanding price/performance ratio, benefit from the concentrated know-how of the PRS company, which is mainly known for its hand-made high-end instruments.

The electric guitars from the SE Silver Sky series are based on the much discussed and beloved model, which was developed in collaboration with John Mayer and first presented in 2018. A poplar body and a screw-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and bird inlays form the basis of the new special edition.

In order to get as close as possible to the playing feel of John Mayer, the neck has 22 frets, a 25.5 inch long scale length and a 635JM neck profile . John Mayer's favorite neck profile! For a contemporary output , the PRS SE Silver Sky series has been given three 635JM “S” single coils , a 5-way switches and volume and tone controls . As the icing on the cake and to properly round off the equipment , the neck plate was signed by John Mayer .

Now you just have to decide: The electric guitars are available in the colors Dragon Fruit , Stone Blue , Moon White and Ever Green . And as befits real workhorses, they come in a padded gig bag .
