The new Generation Collection stands for popular acoustic guitar classics from Gibson with a modern, subtle optics at a wallet-friendly price .

The guitars consist of a walnut body with a Sitka spruce top and a Utile neck . Thanks to the modern , narrow neck profile , the guitars from the Generation Collection are comfortable to play for all hands. Particularly noteworthy is the additional sound hole , called the player port , on the top, which faces the direction of the player. This makes the guitar sound fuller and louder , offering a great immersive sound experience .

When it comes to body shape, you can choose between interpretations of various Gibson classics, namely the 00 , the J-45 , the songwriter or jumbo guitar J-200 , as well as the Hummingbird , which completes the series as the G-Bird .

The G-00, G-45 and the G-Bird offer a scale length of 24.75" . The remaining two guitars have a 25.5" scale length length. While the G-00 and G-45 have no electronics at all, the three remaining models from the Generation Collection are equipped with an LR Baggs pickup system . As a special treat for the eyes, the three electrified guitars have been given a black binding . The features are rounded off with the fact that all instruments in the Generation Collection were built by hand in Bozeman/USA and are delivered including a protective soft case .
