In 2022, Gibson will also present a selection of their most popular electric and acoustic guitar models as frame of the Faded series. These impress with their satin finish and the particularly flattering hand feel of a rather open-pored guitar neck . All guitars are Made in USA and come in a protective hardshell case .
Gibson faded electric guitars
The electric guitars available in the Faded series include a Les Paul Standard 50s in Vintage Honey Burst, a Les Paul Standard 60s in Vintage Cherry Sunburst and an SG Standard 61 with Maestro Vibrola in Vintage Cherry. The Les Pauls differ, in addition to the finish, mainly in their neck profile, the SlimTaper on the 60s and Vintage 50s on the 50s model. All guitars are made of mahogany, in the case of the Les Pauls with an additional glued-on maple top, rosewood fretboard and have a satin nitro finish as well as open burstbucker pickup and Orange drop capacitors.

Gibson Faded Acoustic Guitars
The Gibson Faded Acoustic Guitar range consists of a J-35 30s in Natural, a J-45 50s in Faded Sunburst and a Hummingbird. The body and neck of all guitars are made of mahogany with a Sitka spruce top and are finished with a satin nitro finish . Thanks to the integrated LR Baggs VTC pickup system, the acoustic guitars from the Faded series also cut a wonderful figure on every stage and in the studio.
