Fender Player Plus Meteora series
After the Player Plus series hit all Fender enthusiasts like a bomb last year, the brand new Fender Player Plus Meteora series is set to do the same this year and if we go by its name, even go one better!
As is well known, the impact force of a meteorite is somewhat greater. The traditional Californian company is sending two new candidates, each in four different colors, into the Player Plus orbit.
Fender Player Plus Meteora HH electric guitars
Fans of the guitar group can look forward to the new Fender Player Plus Meteora HH . HH stands for the pickup components. For a contemporary output, the Meteora guitars are equipped with two powerful Fireball humbuckers . If you flip the S1 switch, it activates the split coil of the two humbuckers and at the same time ensures a crystal-clear single-coil sound. The futuristic-looking electric guitars with an alder body and maple neck are available both as a version with a maple fingerboard in the colors 3-Tone Sunburst and Silverburst and as a version with a fretboard made of Pau Ferro rosewood in the colors Belair Blue and Cosmic Jade. For maximum comfort and playability, the Meteora models have a modern C- neck profile with rounded corners, a flat 12" fretboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets . The features are rounded off by a 2-point tremolo, locking tuning machines and a padded Deluxe gig bag from Fender.

Fender Player Plus Active Meteora electric basses
Just as well equipped, the modern Fender Player Plus Active Meteora basses provide plenty of depth. Like their 6-string pondons, the Meteora basses are equipped with an alder body and a maple neck. They form the base over which the color variants 3-Tone Sun and Silverburst with a maple fingerboard and Tequila Sunrise and Opal Spark with a fretboard made of Pau Ferro rosewood are placed. Also identical are the modern C- neck profile with rounded corners and the flat 12" fretboard radius, which together ensure maximum playing comfort. Two Fireball bass humbuckers are responsible for drive the Meteora basses. They sound fat and have a balanced midrange and clear highs. Using a small switches , the bass can be switched between active and passive electronics , which makes it particularly interesting for bass players. Finally, the HiMass bridge ensures rock-solid sustain, perfect intonation and tuning stability.
