Fender Player II
The Player Series gets a new look
Since its introduction, Fender's famous Mexican-made Player Series has been a regular fixture in the large Fender product range. Player guitars and basses were particularly popular with ambitious beginners and advanced, budget-orientated guitarists. In the meantime, however, the good old Player series has become a little outdated and it's time for something new: the Fender Player II models!

Genuine Fender quality at an affordable price
As with its predecessor series, Fender has once again opted for the motto "less is more" with the Player II models: Although the guitars are made from the same high-quality woods as their relatives from the USA, the guitars have been designed without any unnecessary gimmicks, focussing instead on good sound and improved playability. The result are electric basses and electric guitars that unmistakably emulate the vintage Fender look, but also impress with their modern sound and playing comfort. See for yourself!

The features of the Player II series
The revised Player II adopts many specifications from the old Player series, but some features are new. In addition to ash and alder, there are also new mahogany models. The weight of the ash and mahogany models has been reduced by chambering, which means that several hollow chambers are milled into the body wood. The slim "C" neck has also been upgraded with rounded fretboard edges, which further improve playing comfort.
An overwiew of the most important specs:
- electric guitars and basses with classic Fender body shapes
- Alder, ash or mahogany as body wood
- slim maple necks with maple fingerboards or rosewood slabboards
- rounded fretboard edges
- alnico pickups specially designed for the Player II series
- made in Mexico
The colour palette of the Player II series is also very impressive. In addition to classic Fender colours such as White Blonde or 3-Color Sunburst, there are also new, modern colours such as Aquatone Blue, Coral Red or Hialeah Yellow you can discover.
