Parts and Features
The EVH Wolfgang models are characterised by their high-quality workmanship and special features, which are directly matched to the needs of demanding musicians. These include, for example, the specially developed EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups, which are designed to provide a rich and powerful sound and are usually mounted directly on the body. The guitars also have an asymmetrical neck with a fingerboard with a 12" - 16" compound radius, which enables faster, smoother solos and more precise chord playing.
Modern upgrades
Compared to other guitar series such as the Fender Stratocaster or the Gibson Les Paul, the EVH Wolfgang models offer a more modern interpretation of the classic rock sound with a variety of technical improvements. These include the EVH D-Tuna, which enables quick tuning changes, and the robust Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, which allows extreme bendings and dive-bombs without the guitar going out of tune. This bridge is fitted to most Wolfgang models in all price ranges.
