Fusion-Twist

Which XL strings are available?
The D'Addario XL series consists of a total of five different string types. All five string types are available for electric bass and electric guitar and of course in different gauges.
Chromes
XL chromes are the industry standard for flatwound strings. They feature a precision ground stainless steel wire that is wound and polished to provide a smooth feel and a full, warm tone.
Half-Rounds
Half-rounds are an innovative combination of roundwound and flatwound strings. Half Rounds strings have a softer feel than Roundwound strings, but a fuller tone than Flatwound strings.
Nickel-Wound
Round wound strings have the feel and sound that most players are familiar with. This string construction combines the strength of the steel core with the tonal characteristics of the windings.
XL-Pro Steel
XL-Pro-Steels use an exclusive corrosion-resistant steel alloy that delivers a particularly bright tone. They offer a range of harmonically rich, brilliant highs combined with pronounced basses.
XL-Pure Nickel
