Boss Katana amps have always been known for their functional design and excellent, modern features. The Katana Gen 3 models continue this tradition and add a few new features to the existing equipment. Thanks to new Tube Logic enhancements, the Katana Gen 3 amps benefit from an even better sound, feel and response. Also included is a new, expressive pushed amp sound that will delight all fans of edge-of-breakup sounds. You can choose from a total of six different amp sounds: Brown, Lead, Crunch, Pushed, Clean and even an Acoustic sound are represented in all Katana Gen 3 amplifiers.
One amplifier - endless possibilities
The Katana amplifiers are based on decades of Boss development experience and combine a professional sound in the style of a tube amplifier with modern extras such as integrated effects, presets that can be called up at the touch of a button, in-depth sound processing and reduced weight. With the Katana Gen 3, the amplifiers become even more versatile and offer an unrivalled playing experience. The Katana Gen 3 offers five simultaneously usable effect categories, equipped with a variety of effects from the long Boss history. With direct access controls and three variations each, the Booster, Mod, FX, Delay and Reverb sections provide optimised sounds and a total of 15 individual effects.
The Boss Tone Studio
The Boss Tone Studio software offers even more options for editing your sound. Here, 60 effect types and numerous detailed parameters are available, allowing you to customise the amplifier's internal effects precisely to your preferences. In combination with the optional Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter and the BTS Editor app, you can even control and adjust your sounds wirelessly during a gig.
The Boss Tone Studio software for the Katana Gen 3 models has been visually redesigned and offers new graphical settings that allow you to customise your sound even faster and more intuitively. Here you will find numerous tools for amplifier and effects processing that will help you find and shape your personal favourite sound.
Perfectly suited for every situation
The Katana Gen 3's integrated power control combines the best of both worlds: The feel of a fully turned up amp, even at moderate volume, without compromising the sound. If you want to have your sound all to yourself, you can also connect headphones to your Katana Gen 3 amp, muting the speaker. With an output of 50 or 100 watts, the Katana Gen 3 models are also perfect for stage performances of any size. Their comparatively low weight makes these amplifiers ideal for everyday touring.
